Woodburnings.

Woodburning is a guilty pleasure of mine.   Not only does it allow to me to make very satisfying bold lines, it also makes my art studio smell delicious.  I’ve found woodburning to be an extension of the ideology of my ink drawings in that it allows the fanciful illustrator in me to run free.  All of the differing nibs for my pen provide endless hours of possibilities for intricacies and I find myself channeling the Art Nouveau style of the late 19th/early 20th century.
